Meet Steven G. Schram, D.C., LAc.

Dr. Schram is a licensed Chiropractic Physician and Acupuncturist in Whitefish Montana. He has an active practice at Whitefish Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Schram earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College, Portland Oregon and his Diploma in Acupuncture from The Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, Montclair New Jersey. Dr. Schram earned his Bachelor of Science with a dual major in chemistry and biology from Excelsior College, Albany New York. Dr. Schram accepted a full-time appointment as an Associate Professor of Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the University of Western States from 2008 thru 2010. He was responsible for intern clinical education and also served as a Sports Medicine Supervisor of interns treating amateur and professional athletes. Dr. Schram is Certified in Applied Kinesiology by the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Schram has traveled and studied extensively throughout Southeast Asia. He served as Chiropractic Team Physician under Philip Wong the owner of Fairtex Muay Thai Boxing Camp, Bangplee Thailand providing care to champion professional fighters and trainers. Dr. Schram traveled to the Shaolin Temple, Songshan Mountain China the recognized birth place of the martial arts. At the Temple he studied Qi Gong with the Shaolin Monks while serving as Chiropractic Team Physician for Grandmaster William Cheung’s Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu instructor team. Grandmaster William Cheung is the head of the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association with over 50 branches worldwide. Dr. Schram studied Qi Gong and Chinese Medicine for several years under Master Keith Mazza Grandmaster William Cheung’s only closed door student and North American representative for the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association.

Dr. Schram has served four honorable enlistments with the Armed Forces of the United States. His first enlistment was active duty with the United States Air Force serving as a Parachute and Emergency Escape from Aircraft Instructor. His second enlistment was with the California Army National Guard serving as an Air Rescue Medic on board a UH-1 helicopter. His third enlistment was with the Army Reserve as a Medic in the armored infantry. His fourth enlistment was with the Maryland Army National Guard 20th Special Forces Group. Dr. Schram is a current member of the Special Forces Association.

Dr. Schram enjoys serving the citizens of Montana integrating Physical Medicine, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Schram is married to Dr. LuAnn Morrow and is the father of three daughters Jessica, Stevie and Kendra. Dr. Schram is an avid backcountry skier in the winter and hiker during the other seasons and maintains certification as a Wilderness First Responder.
